沈阳市妇婴医院被宏伟大气的花园景致所环绕。优美景致加之自然通风和采光，为病人、工作人员和访客创造了舒适的环境氛围。

建筑群包括一幢三层的裙楼建筑，其中设有接待处、门诊部、急救部、重症监护病房、礼堂和行政办公室。病房区位于高出裙楼的主塔楼中。裙楼中的大厅非常宽敞，令病人和访客可以轻松地辨明方向。从大厅可乘电梯到达病房区和位于二楼的门诊区，并可直接到达礼堂。

明晰的建筑结构和实用的方向引导还得益于人行通道和车行通道的合理安排，医生、访客、病人和救护车各行其道。为了获得最佳采光，病区病房均朝南或朝东。裙楼的绿化屋顶、主题花园、水池和儿童游乐区提供了休息放松的空间。

建筑围护结构宏伟的玻璃外墙彰显出医院开放、亲和的整体形象。

Construction of the new 400-bed Shenyang Women‘s and Children‘s Hospital

The Shenyang Women‘s and Children‘s Hospital complex is set in a spacious garden landscape. In addition to natural ventilation and light, this ensures a pleasant atmosphere for patients, staff and visitors.

The complex consists of a three-story podium, which contains reception, outpatient department, emergency room, a lecture hall and administrative space. The patient departments are on the upper levels. The large entrance hall in the podium facilitates patient and visitor orientation. From this point, elevators rise to both patient areas and the outpatient department on the second floor, while the lecture hall is accessed directly.

Clear structure and functional signposting also underlie the arrangement of access and approaches, so doctors, visitors, patients and ambulance follow separate routes. Patient rooms in the wards are oriented toward the south and east for optimum illumination. The landscaped podium roof, themed gardens, a pond and a children’s playground provide variety.

The generously glazed building shell emphasizes the open, friendly, overall impression of the clinic.
